The RoboCap system enables quick product changeovers and automatically adjusts the number of pans required on the line for each type of product. Mechanical, pneumatical grippers maintain a positive hold on the pans when they are picked up.
The construction of the RoboCap Pan/Tray system is heavy-duty powder-coated profiles, while its carrier-moving guidings are built with special precision-hardened steel rails. To reduce the weight and allow high speed movements, the carrier and grippers are constructed of aluminum parts with hardened pick-up fingers.
